The entrance is beautiful and the rooms are a good size. We stayed for one night and had a lovely room, so we asked to extend our trip for one more night. Unfortunately the lady at the desk said we have to check out at 12pm, book another room via Booking and then check in again at 3pm. We found that to be quite a faff because we had to pack up and store our luggage for a few hours until we could check in again. Apparently our first room was booked, but that doesn’t make much sense considering it was a Medium King, and there were plenty of those free. It would have been better to move the new guests who hadn’t even checked in yet, they would never have known. The second room we were given was not clean unfortunately, the bed was full of hairs. Thankfully the lovely lady we met on day one switched our room within minutes and room number three was clean. She was a real gem, despite being a new member of staff! It would be good if all the staff were as helpful. You get a bottle of water and tea and coffee in the rooms. The beds were very comfortable. Despite being right by the train station and a busy street, the rooms are absolutely silent! If you’re staying in Hamburg, we’d definitely recommend the 2 hour “Hafen Rundfahrt”! If you book via Booking you can get it much cheaper. Also, the bakery across the street is amazing!!

I recently had the pleasure of staying at your hotel and wanted to express my gratitude for the wonderful experience. The staff were incredibly nice and helpful, always going out of their way to ensure that my stay was comfortable and enjoyable. The hotel itself was impeccably clean, and the location was perfect, making it easy to explore the surrounding area. However, I did encounter an issue with one of the staff members in the lobby bar. When we asked to place an order, he told us the bar was closed. A few minutes later, we asked another staff member, who happily took our order without any issues. This left us feeling unsure about the first staff member's behavior, as it seemed potentially discriminatory. Aside from this incident, everything else about my stay was excellent, and I look forward to staying with you again in the future.

The hotel was ideal for us, since we were travelling around by train - It’s just a few minutes’ walk from Hamburg’s main station. Mind you, you can hop on an underground train or an S-Bahn to many parts of the city, as most lines pass through the station. Once in the hotel, it’s a real sanctuary. The staff were polite and professional. One member was particularly helpful when we had to sort out something with our train ticket and told us exactly where to go to get it sorted. The room wasn’t big, but it was very quiet and served us well for one night. The bed was big and exceedingly comfortable and we slept very well indeed. The bathroom was well laid out and modern. Loved the old signage around the hotel (e.g. Lifts, etc.) and nods to a bygone era, especially in the entrance foyer and breakfast room.

Really spacious family room and comfortable bed. Eventhough the location is in front of busy area, the soundproof in the room was really good - we barely hear anything :) Breakfast was also very nice, eventough it was the same buffet menu for 3 days, but I really liked that they offer warm buffet including eggs 'live cooking'. Nice filter coffee too. We were there during weekend but though there were many people it did not feel crowded, maybe because the seat is quite spread and due to high ceiling. All in all, I really recommend this hotel esp. for family, even better if you are traveling with train. PS. there are also many good restaurants in the area.

The location of this hotel is very good, just 2 minutes walk after getting off from the train. It's also very convenient to take U bahn and S bahn from the hotel. There are some good restaurants near the hotel. A very good Chinese restaurant is just beside it. It takes about 5-10 minutes to walk to the downtown to go shopping and visit the Rathaus (city hall) plaza. Breakfast is very good and costs 28 euro. I invited my friend in Hamburg to have breakfast with us. The hotel is big and has many rooms. It's a little complicated to walk from the lobby to our family suite.
